Duplex Double Acting High Pressure Reciprocating Slush Pumps:
- The PRD make, PRD series slush pumps are duplex, double acting reciprocating high pressure pumps which facilitates interchangeability in liners.
- The PRD series pumps are specially designed for typical applications and have in built design and constructional features to ensure smooth performance and high efficiency.
- These pumps are ideal for geophysical surveys, waterwell and core drilling applications, handling drilling mud and cement slurry and for swerage handling purposes. The pumps are also suitable for boilerfeed, water supply and handling crude oil suitable for boilerfeed, water supply and handling crude oil.
- The pumps can be supplied as a separate unit or complete with water cooled / air cooled diesel engine or elect, motor driven through "V" belt drive.
- The pump can also be supplied with a 4 speed transmission gear box or hydraulic transmission for regulating discharge to suit varying field conditions.
- The high pressure delivery line incorporates air vessel, relief value and a pressure gauge.
- The pump and the power unit are mounted on a rigid, structure steel fabricated skid or a suitable trailer / truck.

- The volumetric discharge is theoritical assuming pump running at 100% efficient.
- The acutal volumetric efficiency at which the pump operates is normally 80 - 50%.
- The above parameters are at 1.2 specific gravity of fluid. The pump can handle even more specific gravity fluids but the capacities will reduce correspondingly.
- The specifications are subject to change without notice due to continued research and development.
