Compact Sonic 10-C
The Compact Sonic Drill Rig (CS-10-C) is manufactured by AMS for Sonic Sampling & Supply and offers a great package where access is an issue and increased drilling production is paramount.
The CS-10-C provides high quality samples/cores and fantastic footage production. When using the CS-10-C, there are no cuttings or waste to dispose of, and limited use of drilling fluids in most conditions.
The CS-10-C puts out 20,000 to 28,000 pounds of force and the operator can select sonic vibration mode or rotation mode. Typical boring depths for 2-inch tooling are 100 feet and for 4-inch tooling to 50 feet.
It is safe, easy to use, and has relatively quite operation.
Compact Roto Sonic 17-C
The Compact Roto Sonic (CRS-17-C) is manufactured by AMS for Sonic Sampling & Supply. Where soil conditions are unknown or generally difficult, the CRS-17-C is the best choice.
With output forces similar to the CS-10-C, the CRS-17-C allows rotation and vibration simultaneously. This combination provides much higher cutting action down-hole, facilitating drilling in more competent semi-consolidated geologic formations.
When using the CRS-17-C, there are no cuttings or waste to dispose of, and there is only little use of drilling fluids in most conditions. It is safe, easy to use, and has relatively quite operation.
Typical borings are 3 or 6 inches in diameter and achieve depths of 200 feet and 100 feet respectively.
Compact Roto-Sonic 26-T
The AMS Compact Roto-Sonic 26-T (CRS 26-T) puts out 20,000 lbs. of force with simultaneous rotation and sonic vibration. It is ideal for collecting continuous cores of soil or rock, groundwater sampling, prepacked well installations, injection grouting , remediation work, and installation of geothermal loops.
With the capability of both rotation and vibration simultaneously, the CRS 26-T is designed to drill deeper, faster, and bigger boreholes. The combination of rotation and sonic vibration provides much higher down-hole cutting action, facilitating drilling in more competent semi-consolidated geologic formations. Where soil conditions are unknown or generally difficult, the CRS 26-T is an excellent choice. Options include auger attachments for installing larger traditional groundwater monitoring wells, wireline winch systems, stabilization jacks, water pumps, and more. |
