On October 19, Doosan Chairman Y. H. Park visited partner firms in Incheon area to listen to their opinions and to boost Ecosystemic Development efforts. After listening to partners’ requests 1) to participate in Doosan’s development of new products and 2) to provide technical education to partner firms, he instructed Doosan executives to review the improvement of related processes.
Chairman Y. H. Park visited FreeMs and Samwoo Tech, partners of Doosan Infracore and Doosan Industrial Vehicle in the Incheon area, and emphasized the need to further activate mutual communication in order to effectively boost Ecosystemic Development efforts. He instructed Doosan executives to engage in more communication with partners to positively respond to business difficulties and their requests for support.
FreeMs President Heung Shik Park requested for participation in the development of new products from the initial stage. Chairman Park responded that Doosan would review its processes and take measures to help partners improve their technical development capabilities.
Samwoo Tech President Je Bang Goh requested education support for employees, to which Chairman Park replied that Doosan would devise measures to step up industry-academia linked education and facilitate on-the-job training.
Under the philosophy that Ecosystemic Development with its partners is part of a company’s corporate social responsibilities, Chairman Park has emphasized the need to push ahead with effective support measures. To make sure that such efforts are made, he has visited not only Doosan’s domestic partnered firms in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province and other domestic cities, but also overseas partners in China and other countries. He has also attended related events such as the inaugural general meetings of Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Cooperation Council to listen to the voices of frontline workers. |
