Volvo Penta Borewell Compressor Customer Meet

As per Volvo’s Philosophy to be close to Customer Volvo Penta conducted Customer Meet programme for Borewell Compressor customers at Hotel Chandra Grand at Jodhpur on July 28th 2017 which was attended by more than 80 people consisting of Drilling Rig owners and Rig Manufacturers.

Borewell Live demonstration was part of the meeting where customers had the first hand feel of the machine.

The Customer Meet was organized by SeaTech Authorised Volvo Penta Dealer for Gujarat and Rajasthan and headed by Volvo Penta team consisting of Mr. Marillingappa (Director After Sales & Customer Support) and Mr. Vikram Kate (Business Development Manager).

A team of SeaTech employees were part of the meet headed by Mr. Mahesh Vekariya ( Director - SeaTech) and Mr. Bharat Rathod – Manager Service.

The event commenced with presentation focusing on Volvo Penta Technology, Total Cost of Operations with Volvo Penta Engines, Aftermarket support, Advantages with Volvo Penta – Superior Technology, High Productivity, Maximum Uptime with long service intervals & Aftermarket Support.

Volvo Penta began with re-powering of air compressors few years back and now all these machines are operating throughout India. These re-powered compressor machine owners shared their successful experience with Volvo Penta engines which were well appreciated by the audience. Few benefits highlighted were high productivity, better response under transient loads, less noisy and considerable reduction in Total Cost of operations. This event has increased the confidence and acceptance on Volvo Penta Electronic engines for Air compressor application.

Customers who has benefitted appreciated Volvo Penta engine especially for electronic monitoring and the safety features.

On display was one re-powered Borewell compressor 1400cfm 350 PSI powered by Volvo Penta TAD1641VE-B engine rated at 612HP @ 1800RPM. This machine has recently successfully drilled borewell of depth 3415 ft in Rajkot area.
