Borewell drilling contractors’ state meet

KOCHI: The state meeting of All- Kerala Borewell Drilling Contractors Association (AKBDCA) was inaugurated here on Monday.
The first was inaugurated by former minister T M Jacob. A seminar was organised in which eight papers were presented on groundwater. A family union of the contractors was also organised which was inaugurated by Finance Minister T M Thomas Isaac. Over 100 contractors from all districts will participate in the two-day programme.
“We convene this meeting for the first time and we have got a positive response from the contractors,” an office-bearer said.
