PAC80 Evolutions Breaks New Ground

Sullair Australia has redefined compressor portability and performance with the launch of the new PAC80 Evolution compressor and MX22, SX10 and SX5 breaker-tool package. Ideal for concrete- and asphalt-breaking applications, the new PAC80 Evolution combines compact design with reliability and performance, to provide industry with one of the hardest-hitting portable compressor and tool combinations on the market.

A key element of Sullair/s 'Smart Pressure' range of low-pressure compressed-air solutions, the new PAC80 Evolution features a 6.5hp engine, and delivers 1.5bar output pressure. Measuring just 0.92m in length and weighing only 95kg, the portable air compressor is designed for maximum manoeuvrability and ease of transport. Its pneumatic tyres and telescopic handle make the PAC80 Evolution suitable for use on a variety of uneven surfaces. Handling, storage and transport are facilitated by the PAC80 Evolution's ergonomic and compact design, removable tyres, and the ability to safely stack the units two-high.
The new Sullair PAC80 Evolution is complemented by the MX22 paving breaker, the SX10 demolition tool and the SX5 chipping hammer attachments, weighing 22, 10 and 5kg respectively. "The PAC80 Evolution and tool package are ideal for small traders and for the rental market," said Ian Tessmann, Sullair marketing manager - construction and mining. "It is compact and light enough to be easily transported in the back of a car, and on-site it can easily be wheeled or carried into areas that would be inaccessible for larger units."
According to Tessmann, the PAC80 Evolution's 1.5bar low-pressure output is an important safety feature. "It’s much better to work with a low-pressure unit than a standard-pressure system at 6 to 7bar," he said. "In a construction environment, a split or ruptured hose can present a major safety issue. The low-pressure system minimises that safety risk."
The low-pressure operation of Sullair's PAC80 Evolution reduces running costs, without compromising the performance. "There's nothing on the global market that can achieve comparable results with the PAC80 Evolution at similar pressures. The Sullair engineers have designed the breaker to achieve the same hitting force at 1.5bar that other units can only achieve at 6 to 7bar," said Tessmann. "Its features have been developed from extensive field-testing and market feedback, resulting in unmatched performance and flexibility in a small reliable low-pressure unit. It will hit twice as hard as an electric breaker, and has none of the problems associated with oil-contamination that you'd risk with a hydraulic breaker. The PAC80 Evolution has unparalleled productivity in a compact package."
